Job overview:
as a supply chain manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our production process. Your primary responsibility will be to manage demand, optimize production planning, and secure continuity of our sales and operations planning (s&op) process.
key responsibilities:
* review and validate client demand, taking into account potential delays and previous commitments.
* validate demand against s&op from corporate, identifying areas for improvement.
* challenge demand based on load-capacity analysis, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer needs.
* conduct short-term demand modification analysis with production planning and production line teams.
additional responsibilities:
* organize pre-s&op meetings with involved teams, defining an annual plan that meets customer demands.
* secure get well commitments with clients, ensuring that we meet our delivery promises.
* update machine and manpower load capacity analysis according to the manufacturing plan.
* implement actions to improve load capacity, ensuring that we can meet future demands.
* manage general production data in erp, including prices and launch plans.
* participate in the innovation plant program, identifying opportunities for process improvements.
