Summary: we are seeking an occupational health doctor to lead workplace health programs, medical evaluations, regulatory compliance, and emergency response within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
this role ensures alignment with local occupational health regulations and supports employee well-being through prevention, readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives.key responsibilities:perform pre-employment, periodic, and return-to-work medical evaluations based on applicable occupational health standards.ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations, including:nom-030-stps – preventive services in the workplacenom-035-stps – psychosocial risk preventionnom-017-stps – personal protective equipmentnom-019-stps – safety commissionsnom-010-stps – chemical agentsadditional applicable workplace health standardsprovide first aid and medical response during workplace incidents; lead emergency protocols.implement and support health campaigns: vaccinations, ergonomics, chronic disease monitoring, substance testing, etc.maintain confidential and compliant medical records following clinical documentation standards (e.g., nom-004).
collaborate with hr, ehs, and operations to identify risks, improve conditions, and reduce health incidents.participate in internal/external audits (stps, iso*, corporate).
support programs related to wellness, mental health, ergonomics, and occupational risk management.requirements:medical degree and valid professional license.specialization or certification in occupational/industrial medicine (preferred).3+ years of experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.strong command of occupational health regulations and workplace compliance standards (noms, safety commissions, risk protocols).
experience in emergency medical response and first aid procedures.ability to work cross-functionally with safety, hr, and operations teams.intermediate english level (preferred).
