The sys debug lead will work as part of the ive's (intel validation engineering) data center validation engineering team. The sys debug lead is expected to lead silicon debug forums and hands-on debug in pre/post-si val at soc and platform level, meet schedule with quality, and be quick to ramp up in adjacent areas of expertise.
this role works in cross-org and cross-site collaboration with ip/soc design/architecture/presi/fw/sw/bios and other postsi teams within ive to understand technical features, leverage bkms, and lead debug and resolution of silicon/firmware defects.

6+ years of applied experience in the following:
- hands-on technical, individual contributor in a silicon development engineering environment in cpu/logic/memory products.
- influencing the ip/soc design decisions and pre/post validation methods by doing validation gap analysis.
- computer system architecture.
- design validation of ia core, atom, uncore, memory, ios or subsystems.
- firmware development or debug and programming languages such as c and/or c++ programming, python etc.
*preferred qualifications*:
- experience in debug of intel cpus and/or chipsets.
- experience in design validation of logic/circuits, ios or subsystems.
experience in handling various debug equipment such as jtag, logic analyzer, high bandwidth real time/sampling oscilloscope, high frequency pulse/signal.
