We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Global Supply Chain Manager in Mexico to support our development, engineering, and production teams in the sourcing of mechanical components and assemblies. As a Global Supply Chain Manager, you will support the purchasing, planning, quality and delivery tracking of various materials needed for our battery, vehicle, and swapping systems. In this role, you will not only act as the catalyst to enabling the end-to-end procurement transactions, but also as the champion to bring continuous improvement to purchasing processes and systems to achieve our ambitious mission of electrifying vehicles globally. **WHAT YOU''LL DO**:

- Focused on sourcing mechanical & electrical parts with an emphasis on diversifying our supply base in Mexico
- Support in the development and onboarding of suppliers with a focus on suppliers in Mexico and low cost regions
- Manage quick turn R&D; builds by sourcing key components and coordinating on time delivery to meet our timelines
- Work closely with key suppliers in Mexico to ensure quality standards are achieved and delivery timelines are met
- Execute purchase requisitions to place Purchase Orders as and when needed and manage purchase orders through invoicing and delivery.
- Maintain accurate open Purchase Order lines with the inbound quantities and due dates from vendors.
- Build and maintain operational partnerships with assigned suppliers.
- Act as the primary interface with suppliers on delivery status, issues, and resolution.
- Escalate to commercial or technical partners when required (sourcing team, accounts payable, quality, engineering, etc.)

About this opportunity

The Supply Chain Specialist is an experienced logistician with extensive operational and process improvement knowledge, covering international shipping, customs clearance, warehousing and domestic distribution.

In this role, you will
- Partner global and regional teams to manage operations and fulfilment of our products and auxiliary materials to meet customers demand
- Understand and navigate through complex and challenging local customs, tax and distribution landscape, considering the regional market;
- Monitor and manage freight and logistics partners’ performance for shipping, warehousing and domestic distribution;
