are you a strategic sales professional who thrives on building partnerships and driving growth in the internet service provider sector? We're looking for a sales account manager to join our consumer team in tokyo and accelerate our expansion across japan's isp landscape.

in this role, you'll own your sales territory, developing both partner relationships and end-user business within the service provider ecosystem. You'll be the architect of growth strategies that drive partner acquisition and business expansion, while collaborating closely with marketing to convert qualified leads into closed deals through strategic partner engagement.

this role is based in tokyo, japan. We offer flexible hybrid working arrangements, though regular engagement with local partners and customers is essential.

key responsibilities in this role:

drive strategic growth within the internet service provider industry, identifying and cultivating new business opportunities that align with f-secure's market expansion goals

build and nurture executive-level relationships with systems integrators, resellers, and key decision-makers specializing in the service provider sector

lead complex, high-value deals from opportunity identification through negotiation and close, contributing to critical strategic decisions

orchestrate collaboration across local and global internal teams to deliver seamless customer experiences and maximize deal success

present f-secure's solutions with impact across all organizational levels, translating technical capabilities into compelling business value

what are we looking for?

full professional proficiency in japanese – you'll be engaging daily with japanese partners and customers, making native or business-level japanese essential

strong english communication skills for collaboration with our international teams

proven track record in it account management and sales, with demonstrated success in driving revenue growth and managing complex sales cycles

channel development expertise – you know how to identify, build, and scale sales partnerships that deliver mutual value

cybersecurity industry knowledge and an established network within japan's service provider market (telecommunications experience is highly valued

you get bonus points for:

previous experience selling cybersecurity solutions to telecommunications providers

established relationships with key decision-makers at major japanese isps or telco operators

experience managing both transactional and enterprise-level deals in technology sales

track record of exceeding sales targets in channel-driven business models
