We are seeking a highly skilled project manager to lead our industrial construction projects in guanajuato, mexico.
job overview
* taking end-to-end responsibility for service delivery and ensuring client objectives are met through effective project management.
* interfacing with clients and other consultants at all project stages, managing schedules and budgets, and overseeing general contractors and vendors.
* reviewing construction, correcting and assessing work-in-place, approving capital expenditure spends, and revising cost estimates.
the ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of professional experience as a project manager, with experience in commissioning, engineering or architectural degree with chartered status, and fluent english and spanish language skills.
* run and lead client and other required meetings, presenting updates to the client at all project stages.
* manage risks and control the risk register, manage risk workshops as needed.
* identify factors that influence construction costs and monitor and report on this data.
* issue reports as agreed with client.
* support design management and review, looking forward to identify construction methods opportunities.
* support engineering decisions relating to the project cost and budget while design-build changes take place during construction.
* analyse, track and effectively manage critical milestone activities to avoid schedule slip.
* lead value engineering sessions as required.
* oversee and manage the transfer of the building operations to the client including all close out documentation and warranties.
