Production leadership role
we are seeking a highly skilled production leader to join our team.
job description:
as a production leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing production plans that meet customer requirements while ensuring plant objectives focused on safety, quality, cost, delivery, and morale. You will also monitor the maintenance team to ensure facilities and equipment meet production requirements. Additionally, you will develop and maintain a good workshop environment.
responsibilities:
* develop and improve the housekeeping system, incorporating 5s principles.
* monitor supervisors to ensure they follow production plans to meet takt time.
* guide the development of standard work times for each location, driving lean manufacturing initiatives.
* analyze and improve production efficiency through acp when necessary.
* collaborate with the qa department to maintain quality and iso 9000 standards.
* provide guidance on implementing the kanban system and analyzing internal material shortages.
* develop and implement equipment maintenance systems and analyze/adjust man-hours as needed.
* guide the development and implementation of tools management systems.

preferred qualifications: bachelor's degree in business administration, engineering, or related fields; master's degree preferred. Minimum 5+ years of experience in production/process field in a manufacturing environment.
