*about the role*:
owning the relationship with restaurants all over the country, you will help grow one of uber's newest projects uber direct, which is in the process of rapidly growing in a big way!
you will use your business development skills by working with a growing base of merchants to fuel the uber direct online food delivery (ofd) business growth in mexico.
although this is an ic role, we look for a high level of leadership (influence) and partner management, both internal and external, for driving business results.
you will play an integral role on a cross-functional team, performing towards our vision and strategy of connecting e-commerce to final consumers.
you will be the face of this product externally to a portfolio of merchants where you will negotiate and help operate high-priority partnerships that drive revenue growth.
you will collaborate across internal teams including product, finance, legal, compliance, and operations to provide the best service to our customers!
*what you'll do*:
- clearly understand and communicate the value of uber direct to restaurants in mexico
- drive revenue generation through prospecting, qualifying and closing new businesses
- construct, forecast, and own your sales pipeline via salesforce crm
- perform financial, quantitative and qualitative analyses to understand the strategy the country needs by taking into consideration growth, revenue, marketing, and the development of the accounts
- seek and achieve logistics, same-day delivery, delivery as a service industry knowledge to have enriching conversations with restaurants
- deeply understand the partner's logistics reliability and increase its value
- develop meaningful and long-lasting relationships with key merchants by focusing on building trust and crafting successful joint business plans
- analyze operational metrics to ensure the reliability of the orders
- achieve and consistently exceed monthly goals (financial and qualitative)
- present and report key results to customers internally and externally
*what you'll need*:
- at least 3 years of experience of operations management / key account management / sales / business development work in a large business or growing a startup
- experience in sales & account management, a proven track record in business development and client management preferred
- good business understanding and judgment.
comfortable taking care of financial information and thoughtful about overall strategic choices
- empathetic when taking care of people.
able to quickly establish relationships with external and internal customers
- high adaptability to change and ability to move quickly.
