job summary: this role is responsible for demonstrating extensive industry expertise and providing clients with insights that drive innovative and impactful solutions. The role applies consultative selling techniques to identify and nurture growth opportunities. The role manages customer relationships, margin recovery activities, and sales targets through effective pipeline management.
responsibilities
* own and coordinate account plans on larger strategic commercial accounts and focus on value and/or volume portfolio management and selling a range of the organization's offerings.
* demonstrate advanced level of subject matter expertise and apply consultative-selling techniques to identify and advance opportunities resulting in profitable revenue growth for the organization.
* engage with customers and internal functions to identify their requirements, align them with the organization's capabilities, and select the appropriate supply chain accordingly.
* manage account planning process through scheduled reviews and updates, identify and build growth opportunities, upsell and cross‑sell to the clients.
* lead the contract renewal process, emphasizing the value proposition and securing long‑term partnerships, and identify expansion opportunities.
* review and design sales policies and strategies to meet sales targets and objectives for the assigned business segment; achieve and manage quarterly, half‑yearly, and annual quota and/or margin.
* collaborate with technical experts and specialists to tailor solutions to clients' specific needs.
* implement margin recovery activities and strategies in full ownership depending on account coverage.
* update opportunities in pipeline tools and processes, recommend, and implement pipeline management practices.

job summary: responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of public sector customers through an indirect, channel‑led sales model. Works closely with hp authorized partners, distributors, and resellers to drive demand, develop account strategies, and close opportunities across the public sector landscape.
responsibilities
* own and manage assigned public sector accounts (federal, state, local government, education, healthcare, and other public entities as applicable).
* develop and execute account plans aligned with customer priorities, budgets, and procurement cycles.

required qualifications
* 5+ years of proven sales experience in the public sector, preferably within the it / technology industry.
* demonstrated success selling through indirect or channel‑based sales models.
* strong experience managing public sector procurement processes, tenders, and formal bidding cycles.
* proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex environments.
* excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
* strong pipeline management, forecasting, and crm discipline.
* good understanding of public sector sales cycles, budgeting processes, and regulatory frameworks.
