support in the implementation of health and safety in an efficient manner, ensuring continuous compliance with environmental standards and standards, providing technical support and coordinating activities and processes related to the environment, coordinated prevention of diseases and accidents.
duties:
* investigates all accidents.
* training courses.
* inspections around the facility.
* buys and deliveries personal safety equipment.
* identifies any possible dangerous risk.
* prepares work plan.
* reports to department of labor.
* coordinates activities along the doctor.
* prepares reports and memos.
* supports the hazardous wastes assistants.
* leads the facility’s ehs safety teams.
* coordinates collection and reporting of sustainability and other data required by corporate ehs.
* leads pre-startup ehs reviews for all equipment relocation and /or process changes throughout the facility.
* ensures regular ehs safety team and management review meetings are scheduled and conducted. Communicates information from these meeting with all levels of the facility.
* responsible for maintenance of ehsmis syetem (comm-trac) for facility.
certain other activities or responsibilities inherent to the position
requirements:
* industrial, chemical, bioengineering or related engineer.
* 3 years in similar position
* english (80% written and spoken).
* effective communication at all levels inside and outside the company.
* management of ms office packages (excel, word, power point., access), project management, ability to direct, motivate and influence others to achieve. environmental objectives, problems, negotiation.
* skill arithmetic and basic statistics, personnel.
* management, regulations and regulations in the field of health and safety.
* valid us visa.
* willingness to travel
