We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our human resources department as an hr manager. The hr manager is both a strategic and hands-on role that provides full cycle human resources support to our amazon fulfillment centers. The role is critical in executing our people initiatives, providing great internal customer support, and driving hr functional excellence and process improvement.
responsibilities
* understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of hr within the company.
* maintain a hands-on approach and monitor the \'pulse\' of the employees to ensure a high level of employee engagement.
* adapt to rapid and complex changing work environments.
* coach and mentor at management level.
* create and drive effective development, employee relations, retention and reward programs.
* foster a positive work environment as an enthusiastic team player with strong drive.
* demonstrate flexibility, excellent communication skills and high drive.
* manage high-volume workloads and be willing to \'roll up your sleeves\'.
* provide strong solutions focus and deliverables while identifying problems and driving solutions.
* maintain strong internal and external customer service focus.
* manage multiple priorities with a results-oriented mindset.
* demonstrate bias for action and a strong work ethic to achieve excellence.
* interface effectively at all levels of the organization.
* write and facilitate written recommendations on hr or business-related topics with data-supported insights.
* show passion for innovative hr solutions and process improvement.
* demonstrate excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
* hold a completed bachelor’s degree or 2+ years amazon experience.
* resume shows steady progression in hr management for the last 7+ years.
* 5+ years of experience leading, coaching, and mentoring direct reports.
* 5+ years of experience supporting hourly employee client groups (distribution, manufacturing, or call center environments).
* 5+ years of experience in labor / employee relations.
* fully bilingual (english & spanish).
* master’s degree or mba in hrm preferred.
