we are looking for an ecommerce growth marketing specialist with strong experience in email, sms, and lifecycle marketing who can also contribute across other growth channels when needed. The primary focus of this role is klaviyo email marketing, sms campaigns, lifecycle marketing strategy, and conversion focused copywriting. You will be doing this while supporting the marketing director in executing any other growth initiatives as needed across the business. General helping move marketing projects forward quickly and accurately.
we are a small team with only a few people across all departments, so what you do really matters here, everyone plays an active role in executing marketing initiatives from big to small. You will work directly under the marketing director and assist wherever needed across marketing initiatives. This will include executing paid media; amazon, google,meta and tiktok campaigns, funnel optimization, growth experiments, handling detailed tasks, troubleshooting issues, and filling operational gaps so marketing projects continue moving forward efficiently.
we are a lean startup. Growth challenges do not stay inside strict job descriptions. You are expected to step in, solve problems, and take ownership of outcomes. If something affects revenue, you investigate it. If something breaks, you help fix it. If there is a growth opportunity, you help pursue it.
key responsibilities
* email and sms lifecycle marketing (primary focus)
• manage klaviyo email marketing campaigns and automated flows
• manage sms campaigns and lifecycle messaging through attentive
• write and optimize marketing copy for emails, sms campaigns, and promotional messaging
• improve segmentation, personalization, and customer journeys
• optimize deliverability and placement in the primary inbox
• increase revenue per subscriber and customer lifetime value
• continuously test and update subject lines, offers, timing, creative angles and flows
you must understand how lifecycle marketing drives repeat purchases and long term customer value.
2.copywriting, seo support, and content optimization
• write or assist with marketing copy across email campaigns, product pages, landing pages, and promotions
• support seo improvements including product page optimization, blog posts and keyword usage
• assist the marketing team with campaign launches and promotional messaging
strong written communication and persuasive copywriting are essential.
3.conversion rate optimization and funnel improvement
• analyze landing pages, product pages, and checkout flow to identify friction
• identify drop off points and opportunities to improve conversion rate
• assist with testing bundles, upsells, cross sells, and promotional offers
• implement improvements inside shopify and related tools when needed
• help troubleshoot marketing related technical issues that affect conversion
if there is a bottleneck in the customer journey, you help identify it and assist in solving it.
4.paid media support (meta, tiktok, google & amazon)
• support paid media execution across meta, tiktok, google ads, and amazon ads
• monitor performance metrics including cac, roas, mer, aov, and blended performance
• assist with campaign optimization and identifying areas for improvement
• help analyze campaign performance and identify opportunities to scale or improve efficiency
• support testing of new campaigns, audiences, and creative strategies
you should understand how paid acquisition connects to overall marketing performance and profitability
5.growth projects and additional channels
• support additional growth initiatives including tiktok shop, influencer marketing, and affiliate marketing
• assist with research on competitors, trends, and new growth opportunities
• support testing new offers, creatives, funnels, and marketing experiments
• help execute additional marketing initiatives and projects as needed
because we are a small and fast moving team, you must be comfortable supporting a wide range of marketing tasks and helping the marketing director wherever assistance is needed.
what we are looking for
• 3 to 5 years of experience in ecommerce or dtc marketing strongly preferred
• strong experience with email and sms lifecycle marketing
• experience with klaviyo and shopify preferred
• familiarity with performance marketing channels such as meta ads, tiktok ads, google ads, or amazon ads
• strong written communication and copywriting ability
• high attention to detail and comfort working with data
• ability to execute tasks independently while collaborating closely with the marketing director
• comfortable working in a fast paced startup environment
• strong personal responsibility and ownership mindset
