main purpose
define, direct, and coordinate the comprehensive private fundraising strategy in mexico, aligned with the msf camex multi‐year strategic plan and the international movement's global private fundraising strategic framework (gps).
drive the growth of msf's donor base in mexico through sound donor acquisition and retention strategies, partners and large‐scale donors, as well as the development of high‐value strategic collaborations (one‐to‐one), with the goal of building a solid, diverse, and committed social base that guarantees the financial sustainability of msf camex and contributes to strengthening the msf movement.
develop and maintain internal networks with other offices of the movement and external networks with other organizations to identify market trends, analyse shared challenges, and promote innovation as a cross‐cutting element of the fundraising strategy.
lead the actions aimed at consolidating an organizational culture of fundraising within msf camex and in the operational sections with projects in the country, promoting articulated and strategic work with key areas such as operations, digital unit, communications and finance, to ensure coherence, efficiency and institutional alignment.
main accountabilities
* define, lead, and coordinate the annual strategic and operational planning for fundraising in mexico, ensuring its full alignment with msf camex's multi‐year strategic plan and the movement's global private fundraising strategic framework. Design a balanced, diversified, and sustainable portfolio of revenue streams, as well as a channel mix that guarantees the growth, profitability, and efficiency of the fundraising program.
* oversee short-, medium-, and long‐term revenue, cost, and investment projections, promoting data‐driven decision‐making focused on return on investment (roi). Ensure the proper execution, control, and optimization of the area's budget, including human resources, suppliers, and strategic projects, guaranteeing the efficient, responsible, and transparent use of resources.
* define and oversee, in conjunction with the mass donor segment manager, comprehensive strategies for acquiring, retaining, and building loyalty among members and donors, both offline and online, based on market analysis, advanced audience segmentation, donor behavior, and continuous evaluation of campaign and channel performance.
* promote digital fundraising, in coordination with the head of the digital unit, as a cross‐cutting axis of growth, innovation and operational efficiency, ensuring its strategic integration in all campaigns, initiatives and processes of the department.
profile requirements education
university degree in marketing, business management, communications or related field or equivalent professional experience.

* a minimum of 5 years of professional experience in fundraising at a senior level.
* experience in designing and implementing fundraising strategies across a range of activities, including major giving, corporate and direct marketing.
* strong interest in humanitarian issues and sharing of msf values.

job conditions
basesalary: $81,000.00 mxn gross per month.
benefits by local legislation: 25% vacation bonus, social security, holidays by law.
benefits additional to legislation
* eligible individual experience bonus: 2% of the base salary for each year of eligible experience, up to a maximum of 20%.
* 25 days of vacation per year, up to 3 (personal days) paid leave days per year, additional public holidays beyond those required by law, 30 days of year‐end bonus.
* comprehensive private health insurance covering major medical expenses and minor medical consultations.

* for cross‐border personnel: round‐trip flights, luggage, temporary lodging, immigration expenses (work permit and visa), installation expenses (furnishing, moving, and sponsorship), support for property rental in mexico (1 month deposit and 1 month advance rent), tax advisory services. limited term of office: all positions for which these new and improved conditions apply are subject to a maximum term of office of 6 years, which must be renewed by the appropriate mission coordination or departmental management team.
