Job title: technical training leadlocation: based in ciudad juárez, san jeronimo plant.purpose of the rolethe technical training lead will oversee and drive the implementation of a high-impact, standardized on-the-job training (ojt) program across all manufacturing sites. This role is responsible for establishing a robust training center model, developing technical certification pathways, and building sustainable frontline training capabilities. The position plays a key role in aligning training operations with engineering, safety, and operations to ensure regulatory compliance and workforce readiness in high-volume, gmp-regulated environments.key responsibilitiestraining system development & executionlead the development and deployment of a standardized ojt program across production, maintenance, and other idl roles.structure training centers and create training processes that support onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling across lines and shifts.collaborate with site leadership, engineering, and hr to ensure training materials reflect current processes and safety requirements.certification & competency modelsdesign, implement, and monitor certification pathways aligned to operational complexity and regulatory compliance (gmp, osha, stps).ensure training matrices are updated, aligned to site needs, and integrated with career path frameworks.manage systems for tracking training completion, expiration, and re-certification needs.trainer coaching & developmentbuild and coach a network of frontline trainers capable of delivering consistent technical instruction using adult learning principles and standardized work methods (e.g., 4-step method).evaluate trainer effectiveness and provide continuous feedback and development.lead "train-the-trainer" programs and support internal instructor certification.content development & digitalizationoversee creation and continuous improvement of sop-based, video, and interactive training content.partner with internal comms and digital learning teams to scale training content via lms and mobile platforms.support implementation of tablets and mobile stations to deliver real-time, shop-floor training.cross-functional leadershipserve as the key liaison between hr, engineering, ehs, qa, and operations to align training with broader goals.participate in external audits (e.g., sqf, stps) and internal process improvement initiatives.partner with external vendors (cast, industra, educational institutions) to co-develop high-impact programs.minimum requirementseducation: bachelor's degree in engineering, technical education, or related field.
