Overview
we are currently seeking a software development senior specialist to join our team in guadalajara, jalisco (mx-jal), mexico (mx).
responsibilities
* design and development: build responsive, user-friendly front-end interfaces using modern frameworks (e.g., react, angular, or vue.js).
* develop robust back-end services and apis using node.js, python, java, or similar languages.
* integrate front-end and back-end components for seamless user experiences.
* cloud deployment & operations: deploy, monitor, and manage applications on cloud platforms (aws, azure, or gcp).
* utilize cloud-native services (e.g., serverless, containers, managed databases, storage).
* implement infrastructure as code (iac) using tools like terraform or cloudformation.
* devops & ci/cd: set up and maintain ci/cd pipelines (e.g., github actions, jenkins, gitlab ci).
* automate testing, deployment, and monitoring processes.
* security & best practices: apply security best practices for cloud and application development.
* participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and documentation.
* collaboration: work closely with cross-functional teams to define requirements and deliver solutions.
* mentor junior developers and share knowledge within the team.
required qualifications
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
* 4+ years of professional experience as a full-stack developer.
* hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (aws, azure, or gcp).
* proficiency in front-end frameworks (react, angular, or vue.js).
* strong back-end development skills (node.js, python, java, or similar).
* experience with restful apis and/or graphql.
* familiarity with containerization (docker) and orchestration (kubernetes) or serverless architectures.
* experience with ci/cd tools and automated testing.
* solid understanding of security, scalability, and performance optimization.
preferred qualifications
* cloud certifications (e.g., aws certified developer, azure developer associate).
* experience with infrastructure as code (terraform, cloudformation).
* familiarity with microservices, event-driven architectures, and messaging systems (kafka, rabbitmq).
* experience with both sql and nosql databases.
* exposure to monitoring and observability tools (prometheus, grafana, datadog).
