we are searching for the best talent for principal quality technician (temporary 24 months)
purpose
quality engineering technician and customer complaints. Analysis of customer complaints, elaboration of reports, and support to quality engineers.
you will be responsible for
* training associates and coworkers in areas such as manufacturing processes, systems applications, measuring equipment, customer complaints, and others, when required.
* performing verifications for finished activities as a consequence of non-conformities.
* performing product release activities, investigating non-conformities, audit observations, capas, etc.
* customer complaint analysis.
* data collection and analysis, generating and distributing reports for quality metrics, initiatives, and plant measurable goals.
* maintaining consumables inventories applicable to the department.
* maintaining quality records according to the records retention schedule.
* updating and providing information such as quality records of the plant’s quality systems.
* acting as a database administrator of the department.
* participating in the development of quality systems and processes.
* supporting quality engineers and production lines.
* coordinating quality issues and maintaining quality system documents.
* ensuring compliance with quality procedures, laws, and regulations.
* communicating business issues or opportunities to management.
* if supervising staff, ensuring adherence to health, safety, and environmental guidelines.
* ensuring personal and company compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
qualifications / requirements
* high school diploma and/or technical career completed.
* desirable: 25%-50% college coursework or related work experience.
* quality improvement associate or quality auditor certification preferred.
* english proficiency: 25-50%.
* over 6 years of relevant experience.
* knowledge of qsr / iso standards preferred.
* basic computer skills: ms office, data sheets, presentations, databases.
* knowledge of quality engineering tools, such as measurement systems analysis, basic statistical analysis, etc.
* desirable: asq improvement associate / quality auditor, process excellence green belt certifications.
