Test engineer will be responsible for managing our environmental, reliability and failure analysis programs while supporting the operations with continuous improvement initiatives.responsibilitiesdevelops test protocols (electrical, mechanical, environmental and accelerated testing)manage the laboratory test request and allocate resources as requiredsupervises staff of technicians and operatorsmanage the preventive maintenance program for the quality departmentmanage the return analysis programmanages the qmt programparticipate in new product development (npd) to ensure all customer requirements are met and the manufacturing process is robustmanages calibration programwork with engineering and manufacturing staff, equipment manufacturers and vendors to develop solutions and implement preventative measures to address product and process quality problemsanalyze results and recommend solutions to complex product and process quality problemslead and/or participate in supplier audits and qualification processassure compliance to company procedures, policies and most current revision of iso 9001 standardwork on complex and innovative projects to reduce internal and external quality issuesqualificationsminimum qualifications:bs degree in electronics engineering or other technical discipline7+ years of quality or engineering experience with a minimum 5 years in a quality or test roleskilled in project management and handling multiple projects simultaneouslyexperienced on environmental testing protocols and equipmentstrong statistical knowledgeexcellent problem-solving skillsself-sufficient and thrives in a team environmentability to influence and lead others, a change agentstrong interpersonal and negotiating skillsbilingual english/spanish with excellent verbal and written communication skillsstrong knowledge of pareto analysis techniques, gage r&r, control plans and fmeaskilled in the use of word-processing, spreadsheet, and database computer programsenthusiastic, hardworking, results oriented with a can-do attitude, working towards career advancementeffective at multitasking and time managementexperience in new product introduction processdesired qualifications:experience managing reliability testing laboratorymba or ms degree in related fieldexperience on maintainx systemexperience in high voltage surge testing equipment and protocolsexperience in environmental test chambers7 to 5 years in a leadership position as a quality supervisor or equivalent role in a high-volume manufacturing organizationexperience in test automation (plcs, hdmis, labview)strong knowledge of iso 9000, lean manufacturing and/or six sigma
