overview
we are hiring a lead financial analyst in our business center. This individual will work in the fra department amongst a team of analysts, supporting monthly reporting, analysis, weekly forecasts, quarterly financial forecasts, annual budgeting, and outlook processes. They will provide support through preparing inputs for financial presentations, analysis, and other projects, acting as the analytical engine of the company to support optimal business decision-making.
reporting structure
the financial reporting and analysis lead reports to the coe americas, global operations group, and collaborates closely with the senior director finance gisc of global products.
key responsibilities
* develop, standardize, and automate business-focused financial and performance reports using reporting tools.
* provide regular reports and analysis of financial kpis including p&l, balance sheet, and cash flow.
* analyze trends in key performance indicators such as manufacturing costs, expenses, and capital expenditures.
* monitor performance indicators, identify trends, and analyze variances to support decision-making.
* implement and utilize business intelligence tools and dashboards for real-time analysis.
* prepare financial information for business reviews, including actuals, budgets, and forecasts.
* assist in the preparation and loading of forecasts and budgets on various timeframes.
* support the completion of annual financial plans and forecasts.
* prepare month-end variance reports related to plant performance costs.
* generate operational financial reports on productivity, copq, inventories, and warranties.
* record financial journal entries, accruals, and allocations for global operations.
* ensure compliance with finance procedures and internal controls.
* provide financial support on cost initiatives and projects.
* document risks and escalate issues appropriately.
* respond promptly to information requests and meet deadlines proactively.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
* minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis or related finance/accounting roles.
* strong customer and business orientation with developing business acumen.
* advanced skills in microsoft excel, powerpoint; knowledge of hyperion enterprise and one stream.
* high accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
* creative thinking, self-motivation, and proactive attitude.
* ability to work hands-on with team members in a dynamic environment.
* excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of influencing across the organization.
* fluent in english.
