We provide voice and data services to fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 13,000 miles between both countries.
we have an immediate need for an it infrastructure administrator in mexico city, juarez, monterrey or guadalajara, mexico in a hybrid flex working model.
the role
the responsibilities:
* design, implement, manage and maintain servers and communication equipment.
* resolve it related tickets according to slas defined.
* ensure the availability of the infrastructure including servers, internal networks and it services.
* perform control backups / restore compliance on computers.
* ensure compliance with area standards and policies.
* maintain communication with the rest of the team and collaborative areas.
* manage active directory, gsuite dhcp, etc.
* manage local (proxmox, vmware, kvm, xen) and cloud virtualization platforms (aws, azure, gcp) and containers (kubernetes, docker, openshift).
* maintain updated documentation and comply with company standards.
* creation and configuration of routes, vpn, vlans, ipsec tunnels.
the requirements:
* bachelor degree in information systems or related field.
* windows platform administration experience required.
* ccna or comptia network+ certification a plus.
* virtualization platforms (vmware, proxmox, kvm, xen) experience.
* configuration and management of switches and firewalls such as cisco, fortinet and juniper configuration.
* experience handling addressing and encapsulation.
* lan and wan networks.
* familiar with wireless technologies and standards (wep, wpa, wpa2 security).
* experience with voip technologies.
* advanced administration and configuration in linux.
* experience in information security.
* fully bilingual (english and spanish).
optional/additional local requirements include:
* ccnp certificate or equivalent is desirable.
* ability to work 24x7 in case of failure or emergency and willingness to travel as required.
* hybrid role with availability to work at the client site in monterrey.

* network and systems administration across lan/wan, security, and cloud integration with a focus on high availability.
* effective incident response, documentation, and stakeholder communication.
qualifications and experience:
* minimum 6 years of experience in network and security support and implementation.
* advanced english for client and vendor interactions.
* bachelor's degree in a technology-related field.
