*objective of the position*:
manufacturing cost finance specialist is a finance business partner that provides end-to-end financial support to supply chain functions.
*skills/experience*:
- *more than 5 years of experience in manufacturing cost analysis*, budgeting, and identifying savings opportunities.
skilled in lease vs. buy evaluations, standard cost variance analysis, and reporting on capital, commodities, and losses.
- advanced level of excel and sap, s/4hana is a plus.
- knowledges on database administration, power bi, power point, sac, hyperion planning.
- *advanced english*:
*key responsibilities*:
- review and analyze manufacturing expenses, collaborating with the plant team to have cost projections and savings opportunities, as well as support in the preparation of the budget.
- collaborate with the logistics team for the analysis and in-depth projection of distribution and storage expenses, looking for opportunities to improve spending.
- analyze cost-benefits of lease vs. purchase projects, collaborating with the procurement and plant team.
- participate in continuous improvement (tpm) and supply chain review processes.
- prepare reports on savings, capital investments, commodity and loss analysis
- follow up on the operating model to clarify doubts and improvements to current processes.
- support the enterprise services organization (eso)
- analyze the standard cost of the month against budget and projections, finding the main variations and activating points for improvement.
