About the team

You'll join the marketing tech & operations product team, which owns zillow's customer data platform and the tools that power audience activation across our brands. We partner with marketing, product, engineering, and data teams to build the platform capabilities that help marketers reach the right customers faster, more reliably, and at scale. We're iterative, data-driven, and grounded in doing the right thing for our customers.


about the role

as a product manager on the customer data platform team, you will own key parts of the cdp roadmap: what data flows into the platform, how marketers discover and use it, and how the platform evolves to support new capabilities across channels. You'll sit at the intersection of marketing needs and platform architecture, translating what marketers want to accomplish into lasting product decisions about data, tooling, and integrations.


in this role, you will

* own relationships with marketing stakeholders while surfacing feature opportunities and requirements proactively - not waiting for intake.
* translate marketing needs into clearly scoped work for the cdp technologist team (data contracts, identity rules).
* drive the cdp roadmap for your area, making tradeoffs informed by impact, effort, and business context.
* lead new integrations and system connections across paid channels, messaging platforms and partner tools.
* manage the vendor relationship with our cdp and esp providers.
* improve how marketers discover data, build audiences, and measure performance by simplifying workflows and closing gaps in the platform experience.
* give stakeholders clear visibility into progress through written updates, regular communication, and a trusted point of contact for cdp across the organization.

this role has been categorized as a teleworker position. Teleworkers do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and instead work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the company. Employees may live anywhere in mexico, with availability to travel to mexico city, as we recommend attendance at occasional office events.

in addition to a competitive base salary and benefits, this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance, and location.


who you are


must‑have skills

* hands‑on experience with a customer data platform or closely adjacent martech (hightouch, segment, braze, mparticle, iterable, sfmc, hubspot, or similar) — fluent in identity resolution, audience segmentation, and activation across channels.
* track record of translating marketing stakeholder needs into durable platform capabilities.
* lead through influence with technologists and engineers.
* ability to hold your own in technical conversations and translate technical tradeoffs back to non‑technical marketers without losing either audience.
* strong written communication. Default to writing things down — updates, decisions, requirements — and use writing to drive alignment in a remote, distributed team.
* drive roadmap prioritization using impact/effort tradeoffs, informed by competitive landscape and internal business context.
* reads data models and event schemas fluently.
* can scope data work and pressure‑test technologist proposals through good questions and product judgment.
* 3+ years in a product management role building technology products, with at least 1+ year on a martech, data platform, or marketing‑adjacent product.
* uses ai in their own work and knows when to apply it.
* familiar with common tools and can point to concrete examples of where ai changed how they worked.


nice to have

* direct experience with hightouch, braze, or reverse etl tooling.
* experience managing a saas vendor relationship (roadmap influence, escalations, contract input).
* experience with paid media activation or messaging platform integrations.
