job summary
the
forklift sales manager – latam
will be responsible for developing and expanding lgmg's forklift dealer network across latin america. This role focuses on identifying strategic dealership partners, strengthening relationships with key stakeholders, and driving sales growth within the material handling equipment market.
the position requires strong industry knowledge, dealership development experience, and the ability to lead regional sales initiatives while achieving ambitious business targets.
key responsibilities:
identify and recruit forklift dealerships across the latam region based on market potential, brand portfolio, and alignment with lgmg's strategic goals.
develop and strengthen the lgmg dealer network by improving adoption, engagement, and long-term performance.
build strong relationships with dealership leadership, including decision-makers, sales managers, and commercial teams.
design and implement dealer-specific growth strategies to drive sustainable sales expansion.
achieve annual sales targets for the forklift business segment within the assigned region.
promote strategic product lines and support dealers with sales programs that accelerate product positioning in the market.
monitor dealer performance and provide guidance to improve market penetration and revenue growth.
represent lgmg at trade shows, industry events, and regional commercial meetings.
experience:
10+ years of sales experience
in the material handling or forklift industry.
strong background in
electric forklifts (class i, iv, v)
is highly preferred.
previous experience working with brands such as
toyota, crown, clark, heli, hangcha, ep
, or similar manufacturers is considered an advantage.
minimum
3 years of experience leading or managing sales teams or dealer networks
.
bilingual: english and spanish (required).
bachelor's degree in
business administration, engineering, or related field
, or equivalent industry experience.
