Job overview


this role entails leading a large and diverse team to ensure operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving productivity, addressing challenges, and developing a people-focused leadership style.


responsibilities

* foster a culture of safety and wellbeing among team members.
* analyze performance metrics and implement corrective actions to maintain high quality and productivity across all shifts.
* support and lead a team, handle administrative work, and build a strong team culture.
* suggest process improvements to optimize work and improve customer service.
* promote best practices and continuous process improvements in areas like health and safety and productivity.
* collaborate with other managers to standardize shift processes.


a day in the life


the successful candidate will work shifts, be based at one of our operational sites, and focus on maintaining safety standards within their team and across their site. They will also monitor and maintain process efficiency, perform routine team management and daily operational tasks, and collaborate with colleagues in other teams and external partners to meet customer demands and targets.

required skills and qualifications


to be considered for this role, you should have:

* at least 1 year of experience in employee and performance management.
* a bachelor's degree or equivalent, or at least 2 years of amazon (blue badge/fte) experience.
* ability to work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays.
* ability to push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds during shifts.
* advanced proficiency in spanish and english.
* at least 1 year of experience with performance metrics, process improvement, or lean techniques.
