You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions that improve manufacturing and testing processes. Your work will directly impact productivity, quality, and competitiveness by enabling automation, data-driven decisions, and scalable systems across manufacturing operations.
What You Will Do
1. Design and develop software applications to support and improve manufacturing and test processes.
2. Automate manual processes and generate system reports to increase efficiency and reduce labor costs.
3. Enhance and extend existing test systems used across multiple manufacturing regions.
4. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams including Manufacturing, Test Engineering, Quality, IT, and Product Development.
5. Develop and maintain software using languages such as C#, C/C++, Java, Python, Tcl/Tk, .NET, and web technologies.
6. Integrate software with hardware and test equipment where required.
7. Execute system testing, validation, and troubleshooting to ensure robust and reliable solutions.
8. Support continuous improvement initiatives aligned with Lean, Quality, EHS, and 5S practices.
9. Document designs, test plans, and results to support global deployment and long‑term sustainability.
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
10. Bachelor’s degree in Computer, Electrical, Systems, or related Engineering field.
11. 5+ years of experience developing software in manufacturing, test, or industrial environments.
12. Strong programming experience with compiled languages (C/C++, C#, VB/.NET) and scripting languages (Python, Tcl/Tk).
13. Solid understanding of object‑oriented programming, algorithms, data structures, and GUI development.
14. Experience working with relational databases (MySQL, MS‑SQL or similar).
15. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in cross‑functional and global teams.
16. Advanced English level (C1 or equivalent) for technical communication.
What Will Put You Ahead
17. Master’s degree in Engineering or related field.
18. Experience with automation systems, manufacturing test environments, or industrial software.
19. Knowledge of discrete event modeling, Petri nets, image processing, or machine learning.
20. Familiarity with version control and development tools such as Git, TortoiseSVN, Visual Studio.
21. Strong communication and leadership skills, with a continuous improvement mindset.
