objective of the position
.
· ensure the proper functioning of plant equipment, as well as maintain inventory control and spare parts costs of electrical components, provide ideas for improvement and resource savings, reduce downtime of equipment, anticipate equipment failures and lead technical staff in maintenance activities.

principal activities
responsibilities, tasks and activities include, but are not limited to:
· establishing and taking over the maintenance division for a new production company in mexico.
· responsibility for the electrical maintenance processes
· ensuring the operational capability of production through repair as well as planned inspection and maintenance work
· continuous improvement of technical availability by optimizing maintenance and communication processes
· contact person for internal customers from plant planning to plant dismantling
· if necessary, participation in fault elimination
· development of the production maintenance incl. expansion of the maintenance team, later disciplinary and technical leadership of the employees of the maintenance department

· participate in the improvement and design of equipment and facilities.

maintenance and repair work, reading and interpreting circuit diagrams

follow and improve maintenance schedule of equipment

knowledge of mechanics, electrics and pneumatics

testing of wiring (continuity, insulation and voltage tests)

testing and commissioning of electrical and electromechanical assemblies (hardware and software)
