you will work closely with cross-functional teams to monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve network issues, implement upgrades, and support strategic initiatives across the enterprise.essential job functionsmonitor and manage network performance, availability, and reliability across global infrastructure.troubleshoot and resolve network incidents, outages, and degradations in a timely manner.configure and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.collaborate with it and security teams to implement network changes and upgrades.maintain documentation of network architecture, configurations, and procedures.ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.basic qualificationsbachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field.3+ years of experience in network operations or network engineering.strong knowledge of tcp/ip, dns, dhcp, vpn, and routing protocols (bgp, ospf).
experience with cisco, juniper, or similar network platforms.familiarity with network monitoring tools (e.g., solarwinds, nagios, wireshark).
other qualificationscertifications such as ccna, ccnp, or equivalent are a plus.strong analytical and problem-solving skills.ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.excellent communication and documentation skills.fluency in english and spanish preferred.at dxc technology, we believe strong connections and community are key to our success.
