we are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team as a
senior manager - financial planning & analysis
role purpose:
finance operations (finops) is an integral part of global finance, supporting teams worldwide through high-quality delivery across various finance activities. Finops functions as a unified team of around 3,000 ftes, organized around key global processes, operating in multiple locations including india, poland, and others. It is currently undergoing a transformation to better align with future pillars: accounting operations, data operations, and reporting operations.
business finance operations (bfo), a sub-function of finops, specializes in delivering reports and insights for global businesses and regional views, covering revenue, sales performance, cost analysis, balance sheet management, and profitability. Bfo aims to partner with in-country business finance teams to ensure strategic alignment and effective finance partnering, transforming towards a future of insight & advisory supported by a unified dataset and new working methods.
main activities:
* apply commercial acumen to financial metrics, driving performance, and guiding management towards profitable activities.
* prepare analyses and provide recommendations to capitalize on growth opportunities and mitigate risks.
* develop compelling executive presentations to support decision-making.
* assess the financial impact of initiatives and strategic decisions, integrating these into financial forecasts.
* create regular and ad-hoc reports, dashboards, and insights to explain financial performance.
* collaborate across borders with teams in india, uk, us, and beyond.
* partner with the business to develop financial forecasts supported by underlying data.
principal accountabilities kpi and targets -
service delivery
* provide guidance on global business data management & reporting for the americas.
* review and prepare regional and country exco packs and bespoke reports.
* support forecasting, budgeting, and planning at various levels, requiring strong understanding of finance structures, analytical skills, commentary writing, relationship management, and stakeholder engagement.
* work closely with business partners on emerging priorities.
* interpret data to provide analysis that informs decision-making.
* engage with senior global finance leadership, cfos, and regional teams.
* manage new projects alongside bau activities.
* ensure data integrity and timely submissions.
* communicate financial performance clearly and concisely, especially in commentaries.
* continuously review and improve processes, automating where possible using tools like python, vba, sql, etc.
stakeholder management
* collaborate with senior stakeholders across finance, risk, business, and change teams to align scope and timelines.
* build effective relationships with key stakeholders, clearly defining inputs and timelines.
* liaise with development, enhancement, and project teams.
* ensure mi is understandable and useful for business partners.
* balance demands from multiple stakeholders with limited resources.
* prioritize and manage multiple initiatives effectively.
* maintain high service standards for customer satisfaction.
operational effectiveness & control
* adhere to policies, controls, and compliance requirements, including data protection and safety policies.
* comply with regulatory and internal requirements.
* continuously assess operational risks and adapt to changes in procedures, staff, legal, and technological environments.
* manage work and time effectively, approaching tasks with confidence and enthusiasm.
