summary
the production manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of beverage manufacturing operations, including production planning, team leadership, process optimization, and compliance with safety and quality standards. This role ensures that production targets are met efficiently and cost-effectively, while maintaining the highest standards of product quality and regulatory compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership, operational expertise, and a continuous improvement mindset to support a high-performing production environment.
responsibilities
●coordinate daily and weekly production schedules in alignment with sales forecasts and inventory requirements
●monitor and track raw material and packaging inventory; coordinate with teams to place orders as needed
●collaborate with procurement, logistics, quality control, and production teams to ensure seamless operations
●communicate production updates, delays, or changes to internal stakeholders
●troubleshoot scheduling conflicts and assist in resolving production bottlenecks
●participate in inventory counts and production audits as required
●monitor and optimize production processes, identifying areas for efficiency improvements and cost savings
●manage raw material usage and minimize waste through effective production planning
requirements
●bachelor’s degree in food science, engineering, operations management, or a related field (preferred)
●5+ years of production or manufacturing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
●strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
●proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
●working knowledge of food and beverage safety and quality standards
●proficient in microsoft office and production software; experience with erp or mrp systems is a plus
●fluent in both english and spanish (written and spoken).
