the networking iii role will provide connectivity and network support to all network components, services to both compucom and its customers.
performs analysis of software, hardware, and network systems for processors, multiplexes, lan/wan communications and various transmission systems.
proposes and implements hardware and software upgrades that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
sets up user accounts on company's servers and runs necessary system backups.
serves as the technical liaison with customers.
maintains records on repairs, downtime, changes and updates.
this role is also responsible for the installation, modification, testing and repair of data communications network equipment
what we need & what you'll do (responsibilities):

who you are (qualifications):
- bachelor degree in related field or equivalent educational experience
- ccnp certification or equivalent experience
- 8-10 years professional experiences as a network engineer or equivalent position
- advance-level experience in the following areas: o cisco, juniper, hpe, fortinet, cradlepoint, meraki, f5, riverbed o routers, switches, aps, wireless controllers, load balancer, site to site and dmvpn.
- strong troubleshooting skill on routers and switches for both lan/wan topology
- advanced english (written & oral)
- vpn technology - wireless technology - network devices configuration - problem management - change management - strategic knowledge and experience to provide practical implementation techniques to ensure achievement of results on a large scale, long term program of change in a complex, diverse environment - managing and training lower-level roles- lan/wan communications o cisco, juniper, hpe, fortinet, cradlepoint, meraki, f5, riverbed routers, switches, aps, wireless controllers, load balancer, site to site and dmvpn.- hardware: routers (cisco), switches (cisco), fex (cisco fabric extenders), nexus 2k, 5k, 7k, wireless controller/access point, f5 load balancers citrix load balancers, cisco ucs- software: emc smarts, service now, cisco sdm, ms visio, ms office suite- protocols/standards: rip, eigrp, ospf, bgp, static routing, gre, dmvpn, ipsec vpn, hsrp, vrrp, etherchannel, vss, vpc, pvst, t1, ppp, mlppp, mpls, ethernet high-speed wan, qos
