we are looking for a talented territory sales and service representative-senior to join our team specializing in sales for eaton cummins in monterrey, nuevo león (70% territory, 30% home office).
job summary
provide sales support for eaton-cummins automated transmission products and/or services throughout the sales cycle. May support more complex customer accounts that require adaptation of response or extensive research. May independently develop and capture opportunities for additional sales.
in this role, you will make an impact in the following ways
1. develop and implement business plans to support north territory within the country, region, and division objectives.
2. value sales cycle reports to report out sales activities wins & losses, target product metrics, sales probabilities, barriers to sales efforts, accounts at risk, etc.
3. customer contact reports (ccrs) to report out desired product enhancements, current product performance issues, competitive activity, market trends, etc.
4. territory monthly report to update on business status, market trends, etc.
5. collaborate across all components of the eaton cummins joint venture organization including technical services, call center, aftermarket and others to facilitate customer issue resolution.
6. evaluate and recommend incentive requirements, utilize market intelligence, and administer incentive processes to ensure that we provide the best value to our customers.
7. manage the market introduction of new products to ensure products are adopted quickly.
8. support region sales manager in developing service, sales, parts, training, and marketing strategies to ensure territory alignment to strategies and enhance business acumen.
9. manage and monitor policy costs, operating budget, and promotional claims within the territory.
10. support the region sales manager in developing the operating budget, product sales goals, revenue products, and service goals for the territory.
11. provide product service, operation, and warranty training to customers.
to be successful in this role, you will need
* solid sales technical experience and business acumen in heavy duty class 8 (trailers, fifth wheels trucks and trucks).
* ability to analyze market trends and customer needs.
* experience in territory management (preferred in cities’ borders) and strategic planning.
* financial acumen, including budgeting and cost management.
* strong problem-solving and decision-making technical skills related to the heavy‑duty sector.
* ability to collaborate cross‑functionally in a matrix organization (product engineering, service teams, it, application engineering in cummins eaton).
* customer‑focused mindset with the ability to build strong relationships.
* ability to travel nationality up to 70% as required by the role, 10% internationally.
* strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

* experience in product support, training, and market introduction strategies.
* experience with software‑based sales and business tools is desirable (service ranger 4).
