Operations transformation leader

at samsara, you will define the future of physical operations and be part of a team shaping exciting product solutions. As a recently public company, you'll have autonomy and support to make an impact while building for the long term.


about the role

this role leads our inside sales team in mexico, expanding business and growing our customer base. You will mentor, coach, and develop senior account executives, assist with deal progression, and coordinate with marketing/growth and account development leadership.

* mentor and coach senior account executives in sales techniques and deal close strategies.
* assist with live deal progression and negotiation across the team.
* coordinate with marketing/growth and account development leadership to ensure quality lead volume.
* work cross-functionally with sales engineering, finance, and order operations to ensure smooth deal flow.
* identify opportunities and lead initiatives to benefit the entire market and grow our business in mexico.
* champion and embed samsara's cultural principles as we scale globally.
* hire, develop, and lead a high-performing team.


requirements

* 6+ years of sales experience.
* 2+ years of experience managing a team preferred.
* deep understanding of salesforce.com and meddic/meddpicc.
* strategic problem-solving, project management, interpersonal, and team management skills.
* strong track record of overachievement with coaching experience.
* experience with proof of concept or trial sales motion.
* ability to provide upward feedback.
