Job title: quality management leader
as a quality management leader, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality standards of your location are met. You will lead a wide range of quality functions and work closely with local customer care teams.
the key elements of this role involve:
* partnering with plant managers to ensure quality standards are maintained.
* leading a team of quality professionals to drive business excellence.
* collaborating with bu qm&gcc quality subfunction manager to implement global standard processes.
* ensuring all vital certifications (iso 9001, iso 14001, iso 45001) are maintained.
* driving critical metric improvement by implementing and tracking local metrics.
* presenting monthly progress on critical metrics to the global qm&gcc community.
* aligning and implementing yearly strategies and budgets with your subfunction manager.
* you have the authority to stop unsafe work, production, and processes if quality is not fulfilled.
* driving organization towards prevention through root cause analysis and balanced preventive measures.
* empowering a diverse and professional team to develop their proficiencies.
qualifications
* degree in technical engineering or equivalent.
* leadership skills focused on empowering and developing a diverse team.
* experience working in an international environment.
* profound knowledge of core quality methods such as fmea, 8d, ishikawa diagram, 5why, and value stream management.
* ability to provide guidance on iso 9001, preferred iso 14001|iso 45001.
* proficient in english and spanish.
