job description:
responsible for completion of income tax returns including all related analysis and valuation of assets. Prepares income tax accounting records and reports in accordance with applicable tax accounting practices, including analysis of uncertain tax positions. Forecasts company’s global effective tax rate. Prepares external reporting of the effective tax rate, the balance sheet, transfer pricing, cash flow forecasting and the tax footnote, including quarterly disclosures. Maintains current knowledge of all tax laws affecting the company in applicable jurisdictions and creates plans to minimize the amount of taxes paid by the organization across these entities. Works directly with external auditors and understands tax compliance. May be responsible for compliance. A seasoned, experienced professional with complete understanding of principles, concepts, practices and standards. Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Typically requires a degree and a minimum of 5 years of experience.
