We are seeking a fullstack application support engineer to join our growing team. This role will provide hands-on support for production systems, ensuring reliability, performance, and scalability across web applications, databases, and cloud infrastructure.
responsibilities
* system maintenance and support
o monitor and maintain production systems built on ruby on rails (ror) and nodejs.
o troubleshoot and resolve incidents, bugs, and bottlenecks.
o execute timely resolution of support tickets and escalated issues.
* database management
o debug and optimize queries across relational and nosql databases (e.g., mongodb, oracle).
o preserve data consistency and performance across environments.
o provide ongoing database infrastructure support aligned with system requirements.
* cloud infrastructure
o support applications hosted on azure services (iaas and paas).
o collaborate with infrastructure and devops teams for deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
o ensure system uptime, scalability, and effective disaster recovery procedures.
* documentation & collaboration
o work closely with business stakeholders to analyze and resolve issues.
o document incidents, troubleshooting steps, and support procedures.
o collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve support processes.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
* 2-4 years of experience in application support or fullstack development.
* hands-on experience with ruby on rails (ror) and nodejs.
* familiarity with relational databases (oracle, sql server, postgresql) and nosql databases (mongodb, dynamodb, etc.).
* experience supporting applications on major cloud providers (azure preferred; aws/gcp acceptable).
* strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in production environments.
* excellent communication and documentation skills for cross-team collaboration.
