1. Adheres to gb core beliefs and all safety and quality requirements.
2. Creates and expedites customer orders ensuring proper assignment of cost, conformance to purchase order specifications and timely delivery.
3. Coordinates maintenance of master demand schedule (forecast) and partners with plant operations to coordinate scheduling and delivery.
4. Participates in sales/operations meeting to reconcile inventory forecast with manufacturing capability.
5. Research and addresses customer inquiries/problems.
6. Coordinates with corporate finance to resolve gb and customer invoicing issues.
7. Assists with and coordinates customer requests for quoting and product pricing
8. Coordinates dissemination of product technical information as appropriate to respond to customer.
9. Creates, updates, and administers customer records, and delivery schedules. 10. Interfaces with internal and external customers to coordinate return goods activity. Monitors the progress from the initial contact through the final resolution. 11. Participates in obtaining new account information and providing quotations where appropriate.
12. Provides reports to support customers, sales and marketing, and operations for forecasting, shipping schedules, sales and product history on timely basis.
13. Inputs finished goods and safety stock inventory levels.
14. Maintains understanding of gb production environments, and customer production environments as they pertain to the usage of gb products.
15. Maintains communication channels to ensure appropriate knowledge of customer activity.
16. Performs other functions as required.
*minimum education: minimum education*:bachelor’s in marketing, business or related field. Apics (cpim) certification desired or required within 24 months.
*minimum experience*:
1-3 years customer service and/or manufacturing experience.
*specialized knowledge*:
experience with complex enterprise and production management software. Oracle preferred. Ability to read and interpret contracts and specifications sheets.
*special skills*: excellent customer service skills. Verbal and written skills and numerical agility. Excellent organizational skills.
