the opportunity

this position is located in queretaro, mexico and will report to the talent acquisition manager in mexico.

what you will do:

* deliver services within abbott’s model, technology and processes and be the main point of contact for internal clients at the first line manager level.

* full cycle recruiting efforts and activities from the requirement definition through offer negotiation with simple or standard compensation packages to hire, using abbott's ats and crm. Operate independently with minimum supervision.

* develop and execute sourcing strategies that leverage cost-effective recruiting channels such as abbott career site, job boards, social media, ats or crm data mining, referral programs, virtual job fairs, dei sources, contract conversion. Refrain the use of contingency search partners without ta leadership approval.

* may manage bulk contract conversions for a division or country, and support local, regional prm initiatives as appropriate.

* provide hands-on candidate support through hiring processes to ensure good candidate experience.

qualifications:

* bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

experience:

minimum 2 years of :

* agency / in house recruitment, full-cycle recruitment

* experience of filling entry level to mid-level roles.

* focus on delivering meaningful candidate slates to the business while operating in a fast paced and high-volume environment.

* create targeted postings on job boards and social networks to attract active candidates and develop them up to the point of closing.

critical capabilities:

* strategy development and execution: support the operational execution of the hiring strategy and drive actions that yield tangible recruiting results. Use multiple sources to get desired outcome such as diversity and stem pipelines, crm talent pool, and programmatic posting.

* influence stakeholders and candidates: build credibility with hiring managers, candidates and within team through successful placements and knowledge of the labor market, talent segments, abbott businesses and job functions. Understand and articulate the hiring managers' needs, influence tactical elements such as changes or improvements to requirements or processes and demonstrate the benefits of ta best practices. Actively listen and positively influence candidates on a career at abbott.

* leadership: take accountability for the plan, timeline, and deliverables. Make informed decisions throughout process. translate some of the hiring managers' needs into actionable talent plans with minimal directions from direct ta manager or peers.

* change management: support and embrace application or process change initiatives. Be a champion for medium scope change projects.

* data management, analysis and insights, storytelling: demonstrate basic skills in reporting and presenting data using abbott systems and ms suite. Attend ta trainings, proactively ask for support when needed and network with senior ta team members to learn and close skills gaps.

* project management: support in-country and in-division ta projects. Contribute to project execution in areas identified for development.

* endurance and resilience: problem solve through set-backs and adapt to changes in direction.

* english proficiency is required.
