in fortune brands innovation, inc. We are seeking an experienced analyst it business systems with a deep knowledge and experience related to oracle r12 ebs and/or oracle cloud erp functionality and key best practices. You must have the skills to proactively identify and document requirements, lead process design sessions, and facilitate the execution and implementation of solutions to address business requirements. This role will serve as an internal "consultant" who works with related business teams to identify and prioritize process and system opportunities.
this role will ensure that proper documentation of the business process flow is in place, as well as user reference manuals and user acceptance test scripts. This role will assist in executing the vision for financial business process improvements based on the guidance of the lead analyst, finance systems. This role will also serve as a liaison between business users and technical/development teams to establish and streamline business/system processes, as well as facilitate collaboration between groups of cross-functional partners as needed.

* work with or lead teams (formally or informally) and application users to collect and analyze business requirements for projects/programs for applications that leverage expertise.
* prepare complex requirements specification documents and functional specification documents.
* review, analyze, and prepare complex and detailed documents for business requirements and technical/functional specifications of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
* identify current and future state business processes independently or with the guidance of the longest-serving member of the team.
* provide technical development support for system development and configuration requirements and automation.
* use influence to drive better solutions.
* perform or participate in gap analysis, identify current gaps, and make recommendations for future state business processes
* foster strong communications between business users and application developers to understand key issues, identify perception gaps, and resolve questions.
* work with or lead business users to identify functional cases and establish test scenarios and results.
* work or lead efforts with business users to test, validate, and evaluate new applications and features, and identify functionality issues.
* participate in or lead projects to evaluate, rate, and select software from third parties, vendors, and/or service providers.
* contribute to or manage the scope, acceptance, installation, and implementation of the project.
* participate in or lead the planning of phases for the implementation of applications and systems.
* contribute to or provide solution architecture guidance and recommendations for systems and processes.
* adhere to established documentation standards, procedures, and guidelines.
* provide second tier and third-tier end-user application support on day-to-day calls (oracle and edge applications), as appropriate
* maintain and deploy edge finance applications/systems that integrate with oracle ebs/oracle cloud
* adhere to project schedules, track progress while providing timely reports of issues affecting project progress, coordinate actions, and resolve conflicts. This includes documenting, prioritizing, and tracking requests (changes, improvements, etc.)
proactively assist with training on oracle ebs functionality or finance business process.
qualifications
* bachelor's degree in it/is-related discipline
* 3 years of experience in the it department, 1-2 years of experience in businiess analytics and hands-on experience working on oracle e- businiess
* english advance
* good understanding of finance modules within order to cash, procure to pay and record to report processes in oracle ebs r12 and oracle cloud erp.
* support data extraction from erps to integrate with 3rd party systems. Experience with mexico local regulatory processes involving the mexican sat and related integrating 3rd parties such as edicom.
* experience upgrading on-premise or cloud applications such as mx tress for payroll and other systems while collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
* ability to work independently on project deliverables and meeting timelines and quality requirements.
* fluent in spanish and english.
* ability to think logically, critically, and constructively about complex problems and clearly communicate analytical findings and propose solutions that address expressed needs
* adopts and can lead business process methodology.
* ability to compile complex business requirements, process flows, and use case scenarios and document technical specifications for proposed solutions.
* adopts documentation standards, established procedures and guidelines, and identifies opportunities for improvement.
* good project management skills including planning, scheduling, and execution (pmp or capm certifications are a plus)
* knowledgeable of agile scrum process (scrum master certification is a plus)
* possess strong pl/sql skills, oracle bip report development, ricew frameowrk
* experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred.
