o execute complex testing activities in accordance with established procedures and standards.
o prepare, review, and approve detailed testing reports.
o support laboratory projects of medium complexity, following priorities defined by the section chief.
o review and approve internal procedures related to laboratory testing.
o review and approve equipment maintenance activities and contributes to the development of usage procedures.
o plan activities within area of expertise for mid- to long-term objectives.
o contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

how to thrive in this role?
o you hold a bachelor's or master’s degree in materials engineering, chemical engineering, or a related field.
o you have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience as a laboratory engineer in the aerospace industry.
o you have an advanced knowledge of industry specifications (astm,ams andmilitary standard).
o you have a strong expertise in quality systems and documentation (iso 17025).
o you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a high level of commitment and the ability to work independently in a high-pressure, partner/supplier team environment.
o you have proficiency in microsoft office applications
