as a rent roll analyst, you will play a key role in supporting our compliance team in verifying tenant eligibility and rent affordability across our affordable housing portfolio. This contract role is task-based and remote, focused on processing rent roll data and tnant income certifications (ticss) to ensure properties meet federal, state and local program requirements.

what will you do
- input and validate rent roll dates using an excel-based analysis tool.
- cross-verify tenant income and rent data with tics and program limits.
- monitor tic collection status and document any discrepancies or missing records.
- identify non-compliant units and flag them for follow-up.
- produce standardized spreadsheets and concise summaries of findings.
- assist with reconciliation between rent rolls and agency reporting when needed
requirements
you have...
- 3 years in data analysis or data entry roles (or similar)
- strong excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, conditional formulas)
- detail-oriented, analytical, and able to reason through data anomalies.
- clear written communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- comfortable working independently and following structured templates and sops
- familiarity with smartsheet is preferred
- strong attention to detail, ability to multitask and maintain accuracy
- proactive and self-motivated, with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
