responsibilities

* lead comprehensive investigations into complex allegations of violations of the code of conduct, company policies and regulations.
* manage multiple, simultaneous investigations in a fast-paced environment with prioritization and deadlines.
* gather and analyze evidence, interview witnesses professionally, and prepare detailed investigation reports with recommended corrective action.
* identify trends within and across investigations and communicate them to leadership.
* maintain accurate and complete records of all investigations, including evidence, interviews, and findings.
* serve as investigations expert for global investigations function.
* collaborate with legal, compliance, hr, and other relevant departments to ensure investigations are conducted in accordance with policies and legal requirements.
* stay current on industry best practices, employment law, and emerging risks related to compliance and investigations.


qualifications

to set you up for success in this role from day one, solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

* bachelor’s degree or higher and eight (8) years of experience in employment relations, preferably within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.
* or high school diploma/ged and twelve (12) years of experience in employment investigations, preferably within the medical device and/or pharmaceutical industry.

additional qualifications that will help you succeed:

* advanced degree and certifications (e.g., mba, phr/sphr/gphr).
* willingness to travel as needed to conduct investigations in various locations.
* advising hr and leaders on employee relations issues with actionable resolutions aligned with policy and values.
* partnering with employees and leaders, answering questions during investigations and providing feedback for proper action.
* participation as sme in projects across hr, legal and compliance.
* interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact at all levels of the organization.
* strong written and oral communication and attention to detail.
* high integrity and professionalism; capable of handling multiple investigations and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* experience with restricted and confidential information; ability to preserve and maintain legally privileged information.
* proficiency with investigation management software and related tools.
* ability to manage investigations objectively and impartially.
* excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
* experience in a global or multinational organization.
* familiarity with global compliance standards, whistleblower frameworks, and data privacy laws.
* experience with case management systems, data analytics, and documentation tools.
* fluency in english; additional languages preferred (spanish and/or portuguese).


work location and travel

* remote - united states, mexico, spain, brazil, costa rica
* travel: up to 20% domestic
