*job summary*
this position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities related to construction projects, improvements, adaptations and expansions within a new building, it requires a tireless attitude
working with rigor and rhythm to execute the project on time, cost and quality.
the overall responsibility is to ensure that the building is on time for the start of operations.
*role*
- follow up on the construction program of the building and supervise that progress goes according to plan and ensure delivery on time
- coordinate all the activities of the contractors within the aptiv plant
- review of the scope of the projects with each of the contractors
- ensure that all contractors obtain the required licenses and building permits if necessary
- manage work program of each of the projects and carry out monitoring
- review and approval of engineering and calculation reports of improvement projects, adaptations and expansions
- approval of equipment and materials submittals for manufacturing
- coordinate weekly progress meetings with contractors
- supervise project execution and keep track of daily progress
- keep track of job changes
- prepare weekly progress report for each of the projects
- identify risks of delays in advance and seek a solution
- keep control of invoices for payment for each contractor
- be attentive to needs and changes in projects to adjust them to new needs
- attend customer visits
- ensure that all projects went through their testing and inspection phase before being started and/or delivered
- coordinate receipt of documents for each project
- manage delivery certificate

- ingeniero civil/electrico
- ingles intermedio
- 3 years experience.
