*about the opportunity*
our americas team (canada, usa, central & south america) are leading micromine's growth plans, and they are currently seeking a key account manager to join them. In this this role you will manage existing client relationships with a focus on customer satisfaction, renewals, and upsells and be responsible for managing your direct report(s). This position is based remote within mexico.
reporting directly to the regional manager - americas, your key responsibilities will include:
- developing plans to maintain and grow existing accounts across the americas.
- building relationships within key accounts to engage customers, maintain communication, and facilitate growth.
- identifying potential account challenges and addressing them early.
- sharing customer feedback with the regional manager, as well as assessing opportunities to enhance licensing structures.
- monitoring market trends and competitor activity to drive improvements with micromine's products and promotional strategies.
- lead a high performing account management team through mentorship, performance planning and ongoing guidance
- working with the sales team to help with budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
*about you*
you will have a proven background within business development positions, including b2b sales exposure, and expertise in accounts management.
other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
- professional fluency in both english and spanish is a requirement.
- the ability to create effective account management and growth plans.
- exposure to the mining and / or exploration industries is a bonus.
- experience with software / saas sales is favourable.
- strong organizational skills.
