role description
this is a contract, hourly-paid role for a university lecturer specializing in mechanics of materials. The lecturer will be responsible for preparing and delivering lectures, conducting practical exercises, and supervising student work related to stress, strain, axial loading, torsion, bending, deflection, and material behavior in engineering applications. Additional tasks include assessing student performance, staying updated with developments in the field, and participating in faculty development activities.

qualifications
* strong academic background in mechanics of materials, solid mechanics, structural mechanics, or a related field
* expertise in topics such as stress and strain analysis, torsion, bending, shear and moment relationships, beam deflection, and mechanical behavior of materialsadvanced
