Main roles
Risk management
- Is aware of the Operational Risk scenarios associated with the role and acts in a manner that takes into account operational risk considerations.
- Fully understands the Exit policy as set forth in the Compliance FIM and the Secretary's requirements.
Observation of Internal Controls
Main functions and roles
- Supervise the reception, registration and follow-up of cases escalated to CSEM.
- MI analysis reflected in the Qlick View tool.
- Supervision and monitoring of QA results and observations.
- Supervision and monitoring of QC results and observations.
- Follow-up of high-impact cases escalated to CSEM before or after the end of the business relationship.
- Work closely with Customer Experience and High Risk Approvals to ensure they are informed and fully support and contribute to the CSEM process.
- Ensure adequate input is obtained from all stakeholders for each case and collate responses to build a comprehensive case for the decision.
- Ensure that cases flow through the exit management process in accordance with the SLAs and timeframes outlined in the Compliance FIM
- Provide a clear and transparent audit trail of all output management decisions and actions
- Coordinate the escalation process in case of disagreement between committee members.
Requirements
Knowledge and experience / Qualifications
- The Manager at the Country CS Secretariat will be a financial services professional with some knowledge of financial services, financial crime risk management and/or client business relationships.
- Experience in financial services and/or customer risk and/or AML/KYC type roles.
**Skills**:A high-level understanding of all types of financial crime and reputational risk
Familiarity with retail banking and financial services products
The ability to work with multiple stakeholders to manage the case building, decision making, and exit execution phases of the client selection process
A good understanding of client information to ensure sufficient materials are presented to client selection committees for decision making.
Case work experience
Strong communication skills.
Good eye for detail coupled with strong administrative and organizational skills
