assistant controller
reynosa plant
provide accurate, complete and timely p&l / bs / fcf, including contribution margin analysis for company products by part number. Become a key team member, providing improvement actions for a product based on this knowledge.
your tasks will be:
1. understanding and coordinating all parties involved in gathering product costs to ensure accuracy and completeness by part number.
2. ensuring detailed support information for all costs, such as purchase orders for direct material, actual invoices for freight cost calculations, and engineering timings for labor.
3. assisting in action plans for contribution margin improvements by bom & runtimes review.
4. monthly forecast calculations.
5. delivery of weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end financials, including explanations for gaps compared to prior versions.
6. preparation of financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations as required.
to be successful in this role you will need:
1. bachelor’s degree in general accounting/finance.
2. 4+ years of finance experience in a manufacturing environment.
3. proficiency in computer software, especially excel.
4. expert knowledge of accounting and financial principles, regulations, and best practices.
5. excellent understanding of governmental guidelines and tax laws affecting the company.
6. highly organized with keen attention to detail.
7. proficient in data analysis, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
8. excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
9. experience with accounting/mrp software programs.
10. collaboration and teamwork skills.
11. advanced english proficiency.
