this role is critical in building and maintaining strong vendor relationships, managing timely payments, and ensuring our financial operations run smoothly.
key responsibilities
* build and maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers.
* negotiate and arrange payment terms; manage payment schedules.
* perform accurate bookkeeping and monitor accounts payable records.
* identify and analyze spending patterns, flag unexpected variances, and suggest improvements.
* prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and quarterly cash flow reports.
* ensure timely filing of annual taxes and compliance with federal and state requirements.
* stay current with u.s. tax regulations and ensure ap processes meet compliance standards.
* collaborate with internal teams to maintain accurate financial records.
qualifications
* proven experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or related finance roles.
* strong understanding of u.s. tax regulations and annual filing requirements.
* exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
* strong analytical skills for identifying financial patterns and variances.
* proficiency in accounting software (quickbooks or similar) and microsoft excel,
* fluent in english, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* ability to work independently and maintain accuracy under deadlines.
* provide feedback and recommendations to reduce costs and improve financial efficiency.
