*purpose and scope*
this position is directly accountable for creating a competitive advantage through the management of raw material inventory, asset inventory, finish good inventory, scrap administration, taxation payment, hts code classification that provides quality of information to maintain the tax mexican regulation properly to accomplish with legality of the inventory described.
this position has a significant impact on sales and customer centricity and working closely with legal entities due to international trade regulation and supply chain departments.
also, this position has significant impact in finance department due to immex program & inventory management with mexican government regulations like (annex 24, annex 31) vat payments and the fix asset administration throughout maquiladora program.
*responsibilities*
- coordinate in bound & out bound inventory throughout maquiladora program (immex)
- manage annex 24
- manage annex 31
- mange iva-iep program
- coordinate the correct administration of prosec program
- ensure the correct administration of iva-ieps program
- coordinate the correct administration of hts code classification for the raw material & asset importation process
- coordinate / maintain the fixed assets vs import records for customer compliance regulation.
- manage custom broker operation.
- obtain and control the certification for ctpat & oea programs.
- manage scrap report between sap and immex.
- manage international trade portfolio for sat audit purpose.
- perform daily audits to the import operations to make sure everything is being managed accordingly to the law.
- ensure the data integrity of trade compliance processes.
- coordinate monthly scrap recollection of physical material.

- implement global compliance polices to ensure quality of work in import-export procedures
*technical/functional skills*
experience with production processes in manufacturing industries
strong knowledge of immex program
strong knowledge international trade regulation
strong knowledge logistic - transportation strategies
strong knowledge in customs clearance procedures and customs operations
strong knowledge in oea, ct-pat, prosec
strong knowledge in strategies to reduce risks in audits.
strong knowledge in iva-ieps certification (mexican tax regulation)

*education / experience*
required - bachelor's degree in international trade degree or related, with 5+ years' experience in international trade, immex program and iva-ieps program (taxation mexican regulation.
