role overview
we're seeking an experienced tracking professional who lives and breathes website analytics, conversion tracking, and tag management. The right candidate will have hands-on experience implementing, troubleshooting, and optimizing ad tracking across multiple platforms, ensuring accurate attribution and clean reporting pipelines.
responsibilities
* build, manage, and troubleshoot website tracking setups across google ads, meta (facebook/instagram), bing/microsoft ads, and google analytics (ga4)
* implement and manage google tag manager (gtm) containers, triggers, variables, and tags
* set up conversion events, custom audiences, and remarketing pixels across ad platforms
* audit existing tracking setups for accuracy, reliability, and efficiency
* identify and resolve tracking discrepancies between platforms (google ads vs. Analytics, meta vs. Ga4, etc.)
* support the paid media and seo teams with reporting integrations (looker studio, crm, etc.)
* ensure compliance with privacy regulations (gdpr, ccpa, etc.) in all tagging/tracking activities
* stay up to date with changes in attribution models, ga4, and ad platform tracking policies
qualifications
* 4+ years of experience in analytics, tracking, or digital advertising operations
* deep expertise in google analytics (ga4), google tag manager, and google ads conversion tracking
* strong understanding of meta ads, microsoft ads/bing ads, and cross-platform attribution
* proven ability to troubleshoot pixel fires, duplicate events, and data mismatches
* experience with server-side tagging is a plus
* familiarity with crm integrations, offline conversions, and lead tracking is highly desirable
* strong communication skills and the ability to document processes clearly
