The selected candidate will lead and optimize all operational activities to ensure that production meets quality, cost, and delivery targets, while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Key responsibilities lead and manage production operations through direct supervision and coaching of front-line supervisors, ensuring alignment with safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives. Develop and execute the production schedule, monitor performance, and drive efficiency, reduce scrap, and improve throughput. Maintain a strong presence on the floor—supporting teams, removing obstacles, and promoting a “lead by example” mindset. Analyze and improve production methods and processes to enhance quality and productivity. Ensure accurate and timely reporting of production metrics and results. Collaborate cross-functionally with quality, engineering, and planning to resolve issues and implement corrective actions. Validate and ensure compliance with standard operating procedures (sops). Prepare and manage departmental budgets and resource plans; identify cost-saving opportunities. Recommend and implement improvements in layout, equipment utilization, and labor efficiency. Qualifications 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar production leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related technical field. Bilingual: english and spanish required.
