what will you do?
* ensure the complete and timely execution of monthly, quarterly, and yearly closing and reporting activities for all collaborators, following established timelines.
* lead the preparation, review, and analysis of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with ifrs, local gaap, and internal policies.
* ensure timely and accurate reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
* collaborate with cross‐functional teams to support actuals reporting and provide financial insights that support business decisions.
* support the head of accounting in evaluating and addressing complex accounting treatments.
* leverage sap (sap s/4hana) to execute and monitor accounting, reporting, and closing processes with accuracy and efficiency.
* lead, guide, and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
what will you need to succeed?
* degree in accounting, with at least 7 years of experience in accounting, financial closing, reporting, and cash & banks processes.
* expert‐level knowledge of ifrs and local gaap, including revenue recognition, foreign exchange accounting, and leases.
* strong attention to detail, analytical mindset, and passion for numerical accuracy.
* hands‐on experience with sap (especially sap s/4hana) and proficiency in microsoft office tools such as excel, word, powerpoint, access, and microsoft project.
* strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire teams, solve challenges, and drive results. Intercultural competence is essential.
* excellent written and verbal communication skills in english, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all organizational levels.
